GRE in a few(48) hours
"My time has come"... not the end of my life but the end of my GRE preparation. Its time that I put to test whatever I learnt(rote) in the past few days. This was the worst experience mugging up words from a GRE guide and then trying to remember. And when friends keep telling you to concentrate and try to remember the words. I don't see a reason why one should be learning all these words. And this is only because the US system of education thinks that for a student to get admission to a college, his vocabulary should be tested.
They want a student who has read a lot of stuff, so that his vocabulary gets developed. I never read a book before I came to college. And yet I am in the best(or one of the best) college in India. A lot of the world became open to me, so I used to read tech related stuff. Now if people in my area didn't use 'super' vocabulary.. then is that my fault??? Is it so necessary that I should read novels and magazines to keep my vocabulary up-to-date with a literature guy??? This is so not fair. You want us to do everything.
Anyways I can't change this system all by myself. For if you want a good grad college you have to follow their rules.. because they rule.
And so here I present you a free online GRE preparation material. I used only one of them, I came to know about them recently so couldn't use it to the fullest. Hope you have a good time preparing.
