what am i doing?
"Sachin got a double ton!!! Did you see it", well these are words you could hear quite frequently for the coming few days. And be ready to be bashed by anyone if you didn't see the innings, even if the one bashing you just saw a few glimpses of knock(or even if he just saw Sachin batting a few times).
If you are wondering, "who the hell is Sachin anyway?". For you are a noble entity in this universe of show-off, I would give you an advice, google : "Sachin Tendulkar". And I'm talking of the innings in which he scores 200, which is first of its kind in a One-Day International. Now you are well aware of what I'm writing so you can continue reading.
Most of your facebook updates(I don't know about Orkut or Twitter or any other website) must be filled by now with words like, "God", "hail Sachin", "Doubleton'dulkar", "God exists", "lucky to be in Sachin's era", etc etc. Well for some cricket has been just a sports, for some its their livelihood, for some its a table discussion topic, and for others it is something they have to know about or else they could be the center of disgrace. I see people keep talking about the greatness of Sachin and they keep talking how he played so well. But it was just one innings in which he scored 200! There is not much to talk so people talk of all the innings which Sachin has played. The more you talk the more you are closer to the God!!!(is this in the mind???).
I didn't see Sachin's innings so I didn't feel like informing everyone about his double ton. But when I opened facebook I could see a ton of people trying to inform me that Sachin scored 200. God, had I been interested I would have watched the match. But seems today you can't hide yourself from information, it comes to you automatically, even when you don't want. And now I am thankful to facebook for keeping me updated with latest happenings in the world.
Some of you might be thinking what this post was about. I don't know myself. Whatever comes to mind is posted :)
