Linux --- test test test
I've been trying to use Linux for all my works on computer. I use the Ubuntu 8.04(hardy) distro, which is the latest in Ubuntu. I'm liking it pretty much, as most of the softwares which I need are available in the repository and I don't have to do much effort to install them. Still softwares in Windows feel much more comfortable to use.
I have to design a PCB. Previously I was designing my PCB using Protel in Windows. It is very user friendly. At least I would say so since I had no idea of designing PCBs but I was able to design one successfully. But since I'm now trying to do all my work in Linux. Also since I have a software in Linux for designing PCB I want to see how user friendly is this software. I had never read any manual in my life before running any software but for using Linux I feel like reading the manual prior to using the software. And I'm finding the manual written in a veru simple manner so I am happy with the manual. I hope I can start designing the PCB tomorrow, and then I would really be using the software(name of the software is PCB). I hope the software is easy to use.
Linux rocks!!!
